Miss SUU is a 60 year tradition at Southern Utah University. It first began as the homecoming queen pageant, and then became associated with the Miss America Scholarship Organization more than 40 years ago. Miss SUU is open to young women who are students at Southern Utah University. Miss SUU is an ambassador for SUU and represents the university at a number of alumni, civic, and charitable events. She serves as SUU’s Homecoming Queen.
The goal of the Miss SUU pageant is to help every contestant have a positive experience and encourage tremendous personal growth.
